It’s lovely to hear from parents about some of the things nannies regularly do with their children: bake cakes, make puppets, plan nature trips and projects, and even bring their own musical instruments and set up nanny music groups.

What does a Nanny Do?

  • Sets an example on grooming, grammar and acceptable social behaviour

  • Prepares and cooks nutritious, creative and appropriate meals.

  • Washes and irons children's clothes and change bedding

  • Tidies (with children) and cleans children's bedrooms, bath and play areas
