Nutritional Therapy - Dinah Miller

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional therapy offers a powerful therapeutic tool - based on the latest scientific research evidence - to help you adapt your diet and lifestyle to support optimum health.

What is more central to good health than your food and drink? More than two thousand years ago, Hippocrates advocated "Let food be your medicine and let medicine be your food." Today we say "You are what you eat!"

Good nutrition is vital for good health. Without access to abundant, good-quality nutrients, our bodies cannot function properly.

Unfortunately - for many of us - due to modern lifestyles and food choices, our diets often lack good quality nutrients sufficient for the body's needs. Modern diets, relying heavily on processed convenience foods, hurried snacks, and overcooked meals, can lack sufficient vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and fibre essential for fitness and good health.

Further, the stresses of modern life, lack of exercise, and over-indulgence in stimulants (such as alcohol, nicotine, caffeine) can all contribute to impaired health.

Through changes to diet and lifestyle, your visit to Dinah Miller, Nutritional Therapist, can produce significant improvements in your health. Click on the left hand menu to find out more and then get in touch.
